Magee Siding Company was founded as a Connecticut Partnership by first cousins Gregory Magee and Donald Leavitt, Jr. At 25 years old, Greg’s background was in aluminum products and application, and at 26, Don was experienced in sales and customer service. The two had necessary attributes that added together and paved the way for steady growth, progress, and success. The company began as specialty dealer of: Aluminum siding installation, custom trim fabrication, gutter installation, aluminum storm windows and doors, and custom awnings. The original Headquarters was located at 786 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. The company employed Greg Magee, Don Leavitt, a secretary, and three aluminum applicator/installer specialists.
